Planning Location: Numazu Arcade [Meitengai] shopping street
about 300M long

Site Area: about 3,000 square meters
Location: Numazu City Shizuoka JAPAN


Planning Review:
*Existing site has a history of 60 years old modernism arcade style after World War 2.
*Community needs 'Shifting Modernism' as public garden.
*Before World war 2, there were Neo-crassic style town, therefore this community could judge first to create new staff.
*Near the site, there are memorial bridge for Nazi and Royal Japanese, but name of 'Onari' bridge is imitating "Shogun" period.
It mens that Emperor wanted to be "Shogun" with warrior authority for the Great-East-Asia empire, in somehow in 1920's.
*And all these historical elements have to be reconstructed by comparing after Fukushima and World War 2 as 'Shifting Modernism'.
*Shifting method is referred to 'Miura Folding'. Therefore, this project will be not Deconstruction but reconstruction of 'Shifting Modernism' and 'Folding Modernizm'.
